Graduation Thanksgiving Prayer Service

As the month of June draws to a close, it also marks the end of this academic year for most, if not all tertiary students. There are currently over 70 Tongan students in China and over 20 students were based in Beijing for the past academic year 2016/2017.

On Sunday, June 25th 2017, The Beijing Mission hosted our last prayer service with the Beijing based Tongan students and their families who came to be present at their graduation ceremony, before they disburse for the summer break. Also, some of the first year students may need to relocate to other provinces to continue with their majors, after their first year of studying Chinese language.

This year we are pleased to congratulate nine (9) Tongan students who successfully completed their studies here in China. A total of five (5) graduants in Beijing and one each from Shandong, Jianxi, Wuhan and Jilin; five (5) completed various Master degrees, in which one (1) completed Master with Honors and four (4) completed various Bachelor degrees.
